Crossfire micro tx v2 problem when updating
#1
Hi,

I am new to the hobby and recently bought a tx16s, crossfire micro tx v2 and a geprc smart 16 drone (with crossfire receiver built in).

Yesterday I tried to update the crossfire tx on the tbs agent m but during the update we had an electricity cut for 10-15 min. When the electricity came back, my computer was not able to detect the tx when I plug it via usb. The led on the tx doesn't light up neither.

Is there a way to bring it back from the dead or the Tx is permanently dead?

Ps : Sorry if my english writting is bad... I'm a french canadian

Perform the following procedure which will put your Micro TX module into bootloader mode. Then you can re-flash the required firmware to it:-
  1. Run up TBS Agent TX on your computer.
  2. Take the Micro TX module out of your transmitter.
  3. Hold down the button on the back of the Micro TX module while plugging in the USB cable. The LED ring will start flashing fast green when you do that.
  4. Keep holding down the button until TBS Agent X detects the Micro TX module and shows it as being in "Bootloader Mode" with a firmware version of "0.00" (see the image below). Then let go of the button. The LED ring will continue to flash fast green.

  5. Go into the TBS Agent X "SETTINGS" option and re-flash the required firmware to the Micro TX module as per usual.

Hello All

I have the same situation during the configure model on ground i received information that lost link between TBS Crossfire Micro TX and RX nano. My Transmiter Taranis X9D+ since this moment can't see this TBS module. When i connected to TBS Agend i have informations that is v0.00 bootloader.
During the upload software on TBS TX  is failure after the second step and have information that "Linking USB device" and module is offline and nothing is happen.
It's still is boot v0.00 after the connecting once again and second attepmt.
Added screen whend the ulopad is failure during the update. Is there any way to rescue it from this situation ?

Thanks for any feedback ! Adam
