[SOLVED]
Hey everyone,
I have a HappyModel Crazybee F3 AIO FC. I am very new to this hobby though have done other rc in the past. I decided to go as cheap as I could and get everything off aliexpress and design my own frame to 3D print. I think I have finally worked through all the kinks to get this thing off the ground. Buuut... I was messing with the orientation thing one time and saw smoke coming out :*( I unplugged the battery as quick as I could and inspected. Everything seemed fine. So I plugged it back in and all was well. I moved it around again and more smoke. Apparently I didn't solder well enough because when I bent the wire the wrong way, some frayed wire strands on the leads for the camera power shorted the positive and negative. After figuring this out, I went and redid the solder to make sure that wouldn't happen again.
Everything seems to be in pristine condition. No black marks, all the components are completely secure, there is nothing visually different from the day I took it out of the box. I have connected it to my controller, and all the good lights shine solid like they should. I can make all the bars move in betaflight with the controller, but the motors don't spin when I try to fly it. Even if I go to the motor testing tab in betaflight and try to move them there, they won't do anything. The transmitter works, the power to the camera, everything looks happy.
Could I have fried all of my ESC's? I would wonder if it is the cheap motors but usually at least half of that kind of stuff works. I also did the wiring into the plugs. However, I believe the current orientation is correct and I have tried the signal wire in every position.
