Seen this and want to share my own ProDVR setup.
I recently got mine, so to test it I did a "cristmas tree" wiring:
and on goggles:
This setup includes a switch (it can be seen left top on last photo), which allows to select what currently screen showing - signal from vRX or signal from ProDVR, which is needed to be able to configure it or playback directly on screen.
After a week of flying, I was ensured that this config works and started to upgrade it:
notice, scheme includes own 12v -> 5v regulator to avoid that huge external regulator (which makes whole goggles set look like a bomb). There is no filtering caps on scheme, but I added them later on the board.

Assembling, instead of having wire mess, I wanted to have all mess hidden on PCB. Ok, I got mess everywhere (:
The case was big enough to hide ProDVR in it, so there is in addition three buttons to control it:
Switch vRX/ProDVR on the left, on the center three buttons to control ProDVR and power switch, now I not need to constantly plug in/out battery.
