Here's a little tutorial to replace your Gimbals Taranis by new Hall.
Itchanges what?
The original ones are equipped with potentiometers, thus physical contact, which wear over time and therefore imprecise.
These are with Hall sensors, contactless, no sensor wear, so consistent accuracy.
It took me some time to regain my bearings because it is more specific, but I find it really beneficial mod in addition handling is fast and accessible to everyone, you just need a screwdriver and pliers.
Let's go !
To begin, we must by removing the 6 screws on the back of the radio
Then, unscrew the screws holding them in place Gimbals
Remove the old sticks and disconnect connectors 6
On the side of your throttle stick, remove the spring (gimbal right for mode 1 and mode 2 for left)
And the axis and the metal lever
Deliver new Gimbals in place, the branch connectors 6, 8 deliver the screws holding the as well as the back of the radio.
