Hi guys,

So I was building a new drone (AOS 5.5, really cool) and I used a Caddx Vista camera I had lying around. After setting up, I noticed the video is only in focus for objects really close by. During flying where the focus is on the landscape, the video is very blurry, making it impossible to fly properly. 

Any idea if the focus of the Caddx Vista can be adjusted or is this camera doomed?

The lens is screw on, at least on my Polar Starlight which is the only camera I've had to replace the lens on. I needed to screw on the lens and watch video at the same time in order to get it properly focused.

If it’s an original DJI style camera (two screw mounting holes on either side) then you may have to gently heat up the lens to adjust it, on those originals they thread locked the lenses in.

Hairdryer usually does the trick. On newer Caddx stuff they have a locking ring that you undo and hen you can adjust the focus that way, as Mike C said, gotta have 5 hands and be looking through googles too.
