Build Advice
#1
I have been flying my GepRC Mark 4 HDV for a while now. I recently bought a Insta360 One R and tried to mod my frame by using industrial epoxy and zip ties to hold on the adapter to the arm of my camera and luckily on the maiden flight i kept the flight over a heavily grassy area because it lasted for about a minute then all of the sudden my quad was falling out of the sky in a death roll so now I am trying to figure out how to attach the arm to my quad. I have seen a video on YouTube of the setup I want, basically the 6 inch arm is attached to the rear of the quad and then the camera sits on top of the arm that way when you record your flight the full quad can be in the video. So does anyone have any ideas as to how to attach the arm? The pictures I have attached is how I would like it attached.[Image: gPHDFxml.jpg][Image: C7eTn4ol.jpg]

The double-sided sticky pad that comes with the standard mount is reportedly more than strong enough to fix the bracket onto a quad and keep it there. You can see that is exactly what Gab707 has done in his video HERE with no problems. Nurk also mentions doing the same in one of his articles HERE. Otherwise you are going to have to design and print a custom mount for the GEPRC Mark4 HD5 frame because I can't find any that already exist, probably because everyone likely just uses the normal sticky pad mounting solution.
