Can any 2.4ghz trasnmitter TX be bound to any 2.4ghz Receiver rx?
Binding TX with any random RX? |
08-Jun-2016, 11:40 AM Can any 2.4ghz trasnmitter TX be bound to any 2.4ghz Receiver rx? 08-Jun-2016, 11:44 AM No. They have to use the same protocol, i.e. the same language if you relate it to humans. There might be different brands using the same protocol (see DSMX made by Spektrum/Horizon but used in many clones) but they might all operate within the 2.4GHz band. 08-Jun-2016, 11:46 AM 2.4ghz has a wide range of frequencies within it, your tx and Rx need to be looking for the same frequency otherwise they won't bind. Most manufacturers use a specific frequency so you can only use their Rx with their tx. It's like you have a car and I have a car from different manufacturers, our keyless entry will not unlock the other person's car 05-Sep-2016, 11:47 PM (08-Jun-2016, 11:46 AM)DragonFly Wrote: 2.4ghz has a wide range of frequencies within it, your tx and Rx need to be looking for the same frequency otherwise they won't bind. I'm looking for an RX to go with my devo7 for a tiny brushless build I'm planning, but the standard walkera rx701 weighs 10g and is really bulky, but I can't really find anything about compatibility for this system. 06-Sep-2016, 02:38 PM Maybe you should consider flashing DeviationTX to it, see: http://www.deviationtx.com/ That way you will be able to use DSMX/DSM2 receivers which are very cheap if you consider buying OrangeRX etc. Build - Fly - Crash - Repeat |
