0 To whom it may concern, I appreciate this platform exist. I recently upgraded my built quad and adding a gps on it. In the process of programming and activating the GPS in betaflight I started running issues with betaflight not able to connect to the drone I get the error message all the time. I have uninstall and reinstalled and it now not working probably. I updated the drivers with cp210x driver, stm usb vocal driver, tried the dc impulse driver and tried zadig and I’m not sure what do from here on? I would appreciate your assistance thank you

786 Are you able to put your FC into boot mode (by holding the boot button down while plugging in a USB cable) and does Betaflight Configurator then recognise it as a "DFU" connected device?

14 If that really happenned as soon as you added the GPS and you have an older board like a F3 I would guess that you used the same TX/RX that is allocated to the cp210 board where you plug in your usb.
Like Snow said, try to connect to it via DFU. If you are able to do that then you can reflash your firmware into the board and start over.

0 When held down the reboot button and plugged in it the betaflight configurator didn’t recognize it. I deleted the betaflight and reinstalled it and it did not work.

118 What FC do you have? How did you wire the GPS?
Try unplugging the GPS and then connecting the board to Betaflight. Does this work?

0 Yes the flight controller powers up and it still works. You might right about the USB port might be bad. I tried my tinyhawk on the computer and it wouldn’t connect either
I’m sure of what to do, I might have to buy another computer

11 22-Jun-2021, 04:59 AM (This post was last modified: 22-Jun-2021, 05:01 AM by Kevin2112.) Have you tried using every different USB port on the computer? I did something to a couple of my ports when I started adding the various drivers you tube videos said you needed and instead it screwed em up.
There are usually a couple USB ports on the interior on the mother board (desk top) that might have survived and not been corrupted.
