BEST RADIO SYSTEM!=Futaba?!?!?!?!?!?
#1
According to latency test, Futaba has the fastest latency, with the average latency of their 14SG 14 channel system being only 7.9ms, compared to the 22.96ms latency of the FrSky Taranis X9D. That is a significant difference, and paired with low latency FPV cameras and receivers, could lead up to the racing quad with the LOWEST POSSIBLE LATENCY which is available on the market! Also, the test show that Flysky radio systems have LESS LATENCY than FrSky, with their systems having a latency of 15.10ms, 7.86ms faster than the supposed best quad radio on the market! But, if you want the best, go with Futaba. I haven't tried it out, cause' they are very expensive, but the tests don't lie! Just something to think about... Big Grin

I believe if you stick to only 8 channels, the latency of the Frsky is half.

Doesn't the TBS crossfire thingy have 4.5ms in close range?

Yea I did hear rumours that Futaba radio system has the lowest latency in all, that's why a lot of Asian (e.g. Korean) FPV Racers only use Futaba.
To be honest, for the 99% of people who don't race professionally, this tiny bit of latency difference doesn't mean much. Usability, Price and Features are probably our priority.

Funny thing, is that I'm Korean! Big Grin
Maybe there's some correlation... Smile
