I have Nazgul and I can get it to fit where the old XM+ was in the back in this TPU mount. If I have it there though, it fits right in this little open cut out spot in the carbon fiber top plate. Its safe there and will not get knocked off but it might be covered by a battery slightly and most likely will be touching the carbon fiber.
I have it soldered on the pads to the back of the drone so it probably would have to go in the back somewhere.
I have this double sided sticky pad stuff with Velcro on one side and i dont have the shrink wrap for the receiver.
Would it be bad to place some sticky stuff on the bottom of that receiver??
I can place some sticky velcro on the top of VTX in the back and then some sticky velcro on the bottom of the receiver and place it safely on the top of the VTX towards the antenna without stressing the solder joints too much.
I've heard that the VTX will mess with the signal and then I've heard a lot of people do this.
I'm not worried about going miles but I want it to be better signal than my old XM+.
ALSO!
This Nazgul has a RaceCAM R1 MINI and I have EV800D goggles.
I'm new pilot and I'm having trouble committing to new paths and try new things because I can't see well. It's pretty distorted and I cant make out objects like branches well you know?
What would be an upgrade for the camera that would be a noticeable difference?
And what about new antennas for my goggles?
I took off the old stock ones and replaced them with 1 little Foxier lollypop one (the red really then one) and 1 Foxier Lollipop Black one thats a little stubbier than the red. These work better but still lose signal behind small trees.
For the VTX I'm using the same black lollipop one. And running 400mw because 800mw doesnt seem to work for some reason (it loses signal at about 100ft away.)
Just trying to get better video quality really if possible! And need to find best place to place this ELRS receiver!
(will sticky harm the Matek 2.4ghz Ceramic antenna receivers bottom?)
Thanks for the help.
