Performance.. fastest straight line. or sharpest precise turns. or best at freestyle tricks. What is the best quad you have flown? I have many quads. They all fly different. 6S 5". 4S 4". Micro 3", up to 9" and 14". But this FPVCycle2204 5" ultralight on Podracer5. Its so light, fast and responsive. My eyes and brain cant keep up. Basically, I wanted and got this: Posts: 310 Threads: 31 Likes Received: 82 in 67 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jul 2020 Reputation: 4 That's some insane flying. I can't even comprehend how that's done. That quad looks like a blast if you have the skills to control it. • Posts: 219 Threads: 42 Likes Received: 74 in 60 posts Likes Given: 120 Joined: Aug 2020 Reputation: 2 I am not sure that I have the vocabulary to describe how amazing your flying skills are. Romangpro is just showing an example of what he wants. • Posts: 1,490 Threads: 92 Likes Received: 574 in 468 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Nov 2020 Reputation: 27 Yeah.. umm.. Im not even 10% his skill level. Lol Even two Matty Flips in a row is an accomplishment for me. Im always inspired by such people who push thr boundaries of this hobby. 90% of what you can do with your quad is in the mind • Posts: 122 Threads: 15 Likes Received: 3 in 1 posts Likes Given: 43 Joined: Mar 2021 Reputation: 0 • Posts: 21,195 Threads: 583 Likes Received: 8,935 in 6,610 posts Likes Given: 1,425 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 786 If you like what RC Addict can do LOS, quadmovr is another LOS God who was also born with superhuman skills... • Posts: 6,093 Threads: 172 Likes Received: 2,283 in 1,830 posts Likes Given: 4,724 Joined: Feb 2019 Reputation: 100 performance i like, tight cornering, balance of nimbleness and power. a pnp, the diatone gtm515 got my love back than. overall if it comes to rare power i like to see, powerfull lightweight micros from 2,5" up to 4" can provide crazy agility about cornering and accrelation. • Posts: 157 Threads: 7 Likes Received: 55 in 42 posts Likes Given: 33 Joined: Jan 2021 Reputation: 0 12-Mar-2021, 06:17 AM (This post was last modified: 12-Mar-2021, 06:29 AM by Timmyhawk 2.) Quadmovr.... Well that is INSANE los flying. That must have some sort of 'anti crash into the ground avoidance system'?, it comes so close to the ground sometimes. Absolutely superhuman. Wonder how many broken quads he has? I only have 3 quads, a Syma X5C (toy), a Mobula6 HD and a slightly modified Tinyhawk Freestyle 2. The Syma hasn't been flown since I got the fpv drones. The Mob6 for indoor flying and playing with the cat, and the THFS2 for playing outside and shooting gaps. The THFS2 is the best though, awesome beginner quad and very stable. I have since added a beeper, tracer, pro32 vtx and lumenier axii mini. I love this thing. • Posts: 310 Threads: 31 Likes Received: 82 in 67 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jul 2020 Reputation: 4 What I don't quite understand is how these pilots can see the orientation of the quad that far away in order to control it. In the video, the quad is just a dot in the sky sometimes. • Posts: 21,195 Threads: 583 Likes Received: 8,935 in 6,610 posts Likes Given: 1,425 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 786 12-Mar-2021, 02:41 PM (This post was last modified: 12-Mar-2021, 02:41 PM by SnowLeopardFPV.) In the video, the quad is just a dot in the sky sometimes. They don't need to see the orientation. It's all about a different kind of muscle memory. They know what the orientation of the quad will be in based on the stick inputs they have applied and the rates they are using. So it's done by feel and brain power as well as visuals. I guess these same people can also complete a Rubik's Cube in under 3 seconds • Posts: 310 Threads: 31 Likes Received: 82 in 67 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jul 2020 Reputation: 4 • Posts: 3,533 Threads: 265 Likes Received: 2,610 in 1,545 posts Likes Given: 3,893 Joined: Feb 2018 Reputation: 78 He is probably the best at LOS with quads. But he's not even at rookie level compared to those flying 3D with a helicopter. Just search Tareq Alsaadi, Bert Kammerer, Curtis Youngblood, Kyle Dahl and many others.
