Battery weight GNB 4S HV - ?
#1
Greetings to all.
I am building a 3.5" fpv-quadcopter and I don't want to exceed 250 grams. I will need to order Gaoneng GNB 4S HV xt30 batteries, but their weight is usually not accurate enough. I ask you to write the actual weight of your batteries 450mah, 530mah, 550mah, 650mah, 660mah. I have larger batteries, I know their weight:
GNB 4S HV 720mah 100C/200C xt30: 66.1g; 66.4g;
GNB 4S HV 850mah 60C/120C xt30: 68.1g; 68.5g;
GNB 4S HV 1100mah 60C/120C xt30: 86.6g; 86.64g;

Not all GNB or HV, but here is a snapshot of the 4s packs that I have. That GNB 850mah really underperforms compared to the other packs I highlighted in yellow for freestyle. Probably fine for a cruising pack, but I never tried it.

Thanks, it's very useful to see the weight of similar batteries from other manufacturers.

Just FYI, incase somebody is trying to get max mah per gram.. dont bother.

The 650mah or 850mah are just labels. If you buy the lightest 650mah, you will often find its not really 650mah or a low-C "long range" battery that degrades after 15-20 flights.

I'm running three yellow (90C) 2S 660 and they are past 100 cycles and still hold full charge. If you buy some shit no name 650mAh, then maybe, but all of my GNB's have been cycled many many times and still hold a reasonable amount of charge (or the same amount) and don't sag to the nth degree when i fly. I've never had a Lipo die after 15-20 charges, but I only run GNB and CNHL.

Thank you! These numbers are very interesting to me, my drone weighs approximately 196 grams, and such batteries are quite accurate for < 250 grams.

Been thinking of adding this to all of mine.  Kind of like having a double lock on your battery to hold it in place.  A strap and velcro.
