0 I have the Fat Shark Scout, I recently (a few months ago) got the Steele audio bud and have been enjoying using it for a bit, recently it started to get a slowly growing to be worse buzz where I can now barely hear the actual props, does anyone know what the cause for this could be and how to fix it? I did have a very mild crash not to long before it occurred. Thank you as always!!!?

31 12-Sep-2022, 11:48 PM (This post was last modified: 13-Sep-2022, 02:32 AM by brettbrandon.) I have worked in bands and audio most of my life and a buzz almost always had to do with a bad or missing electrical ground. You say it slowly got worse which tells me an electrical component slowly went bad. Have you checked the jack/plug on the goggles to make sure nothing has built up there to block the ground. Also, I don't know if you have another earbud you can try just to make sure the wire connection on the earbud itself didn't go bad which can happen from the cable pulling on the ends.
I am not the best authority on quads, so there may be something else causing it.

121 In addition to what Brett suggested on the goggle side of things, take a look at the quad itself. You said you had a small crash- check the state of the microphone on your vtx- make sure it didn’t get partially knocked off, damaged, etc.
Dangerous operations.
Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.
