So I got a Naze32 Rev6 and with all the bits I had on my quad i needed the extra channels.
being a bit tight and loving a project I had a look around and found that I could convert my PWM Rx to a PPM Rx freeing up the extra channels I needed, I have the FlySky TH9X so the Rx is the same as the one in the project instructions so I went for it...
The instructions were fantastic really easy to follow, Once all put together and programmed it worked a treat, i even managed to get the arduino to fit in the original case with the Rx so it made a very nice clean tidy setup. I had to remap some of the channels but that's probably because I may have got the wires mixed up, but after a few mins sorting the channels out i was back in the air and working perfectly.
I personally am not a mad flyer still learning to fly really so i haven't noticed any change in response time, im sure there will be a tiny bit but i haven't noticed anything.... All in all a really easy and well worth while project... I'm no master but if anyone fancies having a go and has any problems in more than happy to try and help
I got all the info for the project from
