My memory/retention is terrible as well. This isn’t related to this test specifically, but here’s what helped me with testing in college as well as professional licensing tests:

Repetition in multiple different ways.
I make flash cards by hand, because the act of writing it down helps me remember.
I read those flash cards out loud, because verbalizing, reading, and orally hearing it helps me remember.
I find a study buddy. They don’t even need to know the content, they just need to be able to read the flash cards to me so that I can once again hear it all verbally.

I’m currently studying for my ham tech license exam, and the only way I’m gonna remember all of the frequencies, math, rules, and rega is by repetition until I can recite it in my sleep- then I’ll hafta hurry up and schedule an exam before my brain decides to dump all of that knowledge. Tongue

Good luck on your test!
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

Honestly, I aced that technician license exam by just taking this sample test app over and over again over the course of 3 days. It got to the point where I knew the answer by the first few words of the question. Absolutely the worst way to learn material but I had no intention of actually being a ham operator.
