11 16-Jun-2024, 01:05 AM (This post was last modified: 16-Jun-2024, 01:50 AM by FPVme.) I have a happymodel x12 elrs aio v2.1 from a mobula7 hdzero
I am wiring this flight controller up to some different motors to make a 2s drone, but I am not getting any video. I am getting osd.
I used the original runcam split3lite at first, but swapped to a baby ratel 2 after the no video issue. After swapping cameras I still have osd with no video.
I think I must be doing something wrong and that it is not 2 faulty cameras. Would love any other suggestions of troubleshooting methods. Thanks!

19 16-Jun-2024, 06:30 AM (This post was last modified: 16-Jun-2024, 06:38 AM by BadRaven.) Your info on installation is unclear. The X12 contains an analog VTX, but the X12 from a HDZero quad would be the Lite version without a VTX.
This therefore had a Whoop Lite HDZero board with MiPi?? Or an HDZero ECO??
What blue LED indication is there on the HDZero VTX board?

103 Hdzero is a digital video transmission, according your named cameras, you might own the analog version. Not the hdzero version.
-Check your video cables or connectors, from cam to the fc.
Maybe a broken wire?
-If not, proceed by check cam/fc osd chip.
Desolder both video cables from vtx and cam, solder them together and power up, if you got video it might be a vroken osd chip on the fc. If there isnt video than, theck the power supply and wires again.. as you still tested a second new cam, its likely one of these two oprions: cam piwee supply or broken osd chip

11 I'm so sorry, I gave bad information. I meant to just say Mobula7 HD (not hdzero!) So sorry for the confusion there! This x12 aio is from the analog version of the mobula 7. Sorry again.
I have tried running the camera to the onboard VTX, and I even connected an external vtx. Both gave the same results (no video but osd looks good).

58 Use your multimeter to measure the resistance between VIDEO IN (camera) pin to GND. I forget exactly what that should be, something like 60 ohms, might have to look it up. Besides that tiny camera plug, it should also have a solder pad for the Video In so maybe try that as well.

58 That sounds about right, are you getting that from both the connector and the pad? If only the pad, then try soldering the camera wire.
Also you may want to check the PAL/NTSC setting on your camera and FC, sometimes a mismatch could lead to blank video.

11 That reading came from the connector pin and the separate video in pad. I tried changing pal/ntsc in the goggle, which left me with no image at all (no osd or camera) can you change pal/ntsc on the fc itself?

58 Yes both in FC BF OSD and also for Ratel/Split on the camera itself.

11 pal/ntsc doesn't seem to do it. I reattached a different VTX and unsoldered a bridge on the FC from a smartaudio pad to a tx2 pad. Unsoldering that bridge seems to disconnect the onboard VTX. Nevertheless, I get OSD and no camera image.

58 You are using an external VTX? I believe the X12 has a powerbridge that you desolder to disable the internal VTX. If you are getting BF OSD (not goggles OSD) then it seems your VTX is correctly transmitting the video signal from the FC. But it could be the OSD chip or the connection from camera to the chip is faulty (but you measured 75ohm which sounds normal). When you wire the camera directly to your VTX you are seeing the video feed? That would rule out camera issues.
