Wrecked my motors :(

This looks like the one that was in my basic electronics book that I learned through.

I have not found a lead free solder that I would waste time with.  I bought a large "drum" of Kester when I was younger and it lasted for a few decades of projects.  When it ran out, I started researching for a less expensive solution and came across the one referenced in the earlier post.

Super helpful, thankyou!!
So when I was practicing with my solder and some older electronics, I noticed the solder sucker that came with my iron doesn’t really do anything.
Is there any other trick to remove solder other than the solder sponges? I have ordered one of those cause I couldn’t find anything but figured I’d ask.

I use solder wick mostly, for the small stuff. My station includes a very mature Weller solder sucker that seems to do an okay job as long as the space is not too tight. The issue with solder wick, it requires the iron stay hot and in contact with the joints for a long while.
