Wife organized bench, I’m gonna need therapy !
#1
The worst part was I had 3 quads under repair / build.. How can I get mad? She did something “nice” for me… could be worse, no damage done.. just going to take some extra time to locate EVERTHING..
I’ve seen / heard worse things.. like the kids washing the car using scrub pads to get the bugs off…”

That was thoughtful of her.

Thankfully, my significant other has no desire to organize any of my crap, and I have no desire to try to organize her art and craft room.

I do occasionally ask her for suggestions on the best way to organize my stuff, though.
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

My wife knows not to touch my bench. Told her stuff can explode if you touch the wrong thing :-)
(which might be closer to the truth than i would like to admit as my second immersion rc P200 desk power unit blew up on me this week. total overpriced pos)

Takking about organising mid builds. It is wonderfull how in your mind you have it all sorted, then when you come back from a 2 month work holliday like i just did, it looks like someone elses desk and i have no idea anymore what belongs together.
Worst is i kept some electronics like naked vistas and fc boards nicely in separate plastic boxes knowing exactly which where broken/just keep for later and which where good. Now , not anymore........
Damn i need a new system.....

Reminds me of a friend who had completely disassembled his motorbike engine, carbs and fuel system. He had bunched all the screws, nuts and bolts in order on the floor. He came home one day to find his wife had put them all together in a nice jar for him. He wasn't a happy camper.

… at that point… buy another project bike! My wife wanted a vintage Honda motorcycle.. so I found one.. had her install the ignition system on it.. “if u want to ride it.. you better know how to fix it..”. Yeah.. a bit harsh on my part.. but she did it.. got the pics to prove it too ..

This is a good way to have no money left.

My friends partner wanted a bike like his, so she ended up picking a Yamaha Tenere XT660Z the same as his, but it had some issues.  So he taught her to fix the issues.  Then she bought another bike and fixed that and is currently restoring a vintage Honda CG125.  He wishes he had bought her a new one.  She has more bikes than he does and the bank account took a bit of a hit.

Still he got her from no driving licence to having a full car and bike licence, plus she now rides with him on holiday and tours Europe.

I'd take the wife tbh. A lifetime companion is far more important than the others.

It’s not just “off”.. when you get through getting the tune dialed in perfect.. the next time you fly.. it’s like you never tuned it..
I tried to reassemble my 5” Glide quad today… the top plate uses counter sunk screws in the back of the top plate… found ONE.. I went to Ace Hardware.. and I can’t believe they had them..
