I know I am clearly missing something...

I'd like to set up a switch on the radio to change PID profiles.  I've already used Aux 1-4 for other things.  I need an Aux 5, I think?  But in Betaflight it only shows 8 channels (AETR & AUX1-4).

My radio is a Radiomaster TS16s. I thought it was 16 channels?  Shouldn't there be 8 more channels listed on the receiver tab in Betaflight?  

I've been trying to search, but my search terms must be off--I don't seem to be pulling up the answer anywhere.

Flying a Tinyhawk II Freestyle. Are the number of channels limited by the receiver?

The receiver has to be capable for the amount of channels you use. Sometimes it’s just a matter of setting that up in the transmitter. It used to be that the less channels you used the less latency you got but with modern radios it really isn’t as much of an issue for recreational flyers anymore even with 16 channels the perceived latency is not really a factor for most people.
