who tried a jhemcu aio?
#1
i like to try inexpensive parts, i installed a jhemcu 30a aio in a 4inch.
it flew pretty fine, very nice.
i got something wired, after installing the vtx table, settup a band and channel, it was in pitmode. every try, it went back into pitmode. while configuring osd a bf warning came; „vtx need propre pwer..“ „ some osd chips need propre power from a battery..“.
after several trys, it went out of pitmode. finaly i could settup the osd.

if i remember well, ph2t had this aio installed in his 4inch twig, get lost video and loose the quad on maidenflight Huh ?
i will probably wire the cam and vtx directly together without osd, to hide problems, but i will need it for tuning.
do someone get issues with the osd chip aswell? or use it without any issue?

I used one for X-Knight 5" build and it had no VTX issue but it lasted less than one pack. One ESC gave up. Having said that, the previous AIO was a Betafpv at double the price and it was faulty too.

I have another 30A here I plan to use on kababfpv 4 inch Fouride with Caddx Vista. Hopefully it will be second time lucky with this AIO.

it seems the pitmode issue is from betaflight, probably i miss something. it allways start in pitmode and jumps to pitmode „on“ on every boot.

the osd chip worked nice, i got a burned 5v circut on the first crash. i need a tiny matek bec.
its my second 25mm aio, it run for less than 15min without an issue. the betafpv 20a aio probably 25min flighttime xD
i got cery good results on my 20x20mm electronics, 1-2years old and still performy nicely. i wont buy 25mm electronics anymore, hyped products...
i like aios, i flew 30x30aios on 5inches in the past but it seems to me the 25mm aios was more come to the market because of hype-costumer request, doesnt come from any technical reason/option.
