0 I just built my first mini quad and have flown it like 3 times so far. With quads that come ARF are the settings and everything else already tweaked for flying that drone? If so what would be a good one to get as a second drone (also could become primary to)? The reason asking is this is my first drone and I am not sure if it is flying great or flying like crap. If I can get my hands on a drone that is already setup with everything I guess ill know if I need to be working on the quad settings that built more or not. Looking to spend from $100 to $300, if you guys know something with a transmitter I have a flysky radio. For the size I am using right now is a martian 11 so right around the 220 size.

0 I second Voodoo's suggestion of the Armattan Rooster. I just built one myself and I love it. The quality of components and the lifetime warranty from Armattan are definitely worth the extra investment.

65 10-Feb-2018, 04:37 PM (This post was last modified: 10-Feb-2018, 04:38 PM by kaitylynn.) Had I not started into racing drones with a DIY project, I would have going with something like the Wizard 220 and slowly built it out as things broke. That choice would be from the past. There are now some really nice offerings in your price range and if my choice was in front of me today, the Kopis would have to be my pick for the high end and a good Micro for a mid priced choice, like the
Lizard95 or
KLEX-90.
The Lizard95 (mine is named Lizzie) is where I started to actually began to learn how to control a race quad. It can be purchased ready to bind with the FlySky protocol radio and is complete out of the box.
SoCal Kaity :D
OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! Addicted :)
