Velocidrone settings
#1
I just bought this and somehow managed to pair it with the TX16s, but upon flying it didn't seem that realistic.. I tried playing around with a few settings and gravity in particular made it better but I was wondering if anyone can suggest what settings to change and what values to use to make it behave the way a 5" quad should behave..
At the moment it seems sluggish and it tends to gain altitude when moving forward... I dont know.. its not quite right.
What makes it harder is that I don't have enough experience in flying a quad to start off with to assess what needs to be altered..
Can anyone help?

I am limited to a laptop without a dedicated graphics card.. so I have mine (graphics) turned all the way down. After a few minutes it does slow and feel “floaty”..this is due to my hardware not the software. I’ll see what my settings are later today

You need to adjust your screen quality settings to get the best out of VelociDrone based on the capabilities of your hardware. Ashley explains how all the settings work and what effects they each have in the following video...

May be try some of settings used by Mr. Steele to try to emulate some of 5" physics  but probably not his fast  RC rate as you are a beginner.

Check out this older video from 8 minute onward.

I WAS getting 15fps... now i can reach 85fps. So much for my GAMING notebook 1 year old i9 with 8gb ram and SSD. ;(
I'll go thru Mr Steele's settings when I have time. (parts just arrived to repair my quad... priorities...)
Thanx all.
