URUAV rx5808 Evo
#1
Hi guys,

I use an URUAV rx5808 Evo with an adaptor faceplate on my DJI goggles. I have 2 toothpicks, one with a rush tiny tank and an eachine nano.

The image does not sufer any multipathing or any usual FPV reception issue. However the image is distorted. The image the borders where the disruption occurs blackens and the trees look like they've been going through a twister SmileWorse than that are the freezes... especially when upside down ?

This happens on both quads. This happens on both VRX. Never had that before... Of using a fusion VRX, it goes into legacy mode and black and white. On my old skyzone 02x, same vtx, never had that issue.

Is this an issue of the 2 Evos?? 2 defective units seems unlikely.

No picture attached but I will not rule out the DJI goggles in this equation.
Did you perform any firmware updates on the goggles?
It maybe the voltage regulator on the adapter or the adapter being defective with loose pins etc.
Too much at play here.

Hey,
Thanks for answering. What makes you think it might be the adapter? There's no obvious lose pin, but I will check its inside... Thanks for the suggestion.
My dji v1 has the latest and greatest...

I can't upload the darn picture. Don't ask me why.

Are the cameras on your toothpicks outputting a PAL or an NTSC signal? The DJI FPV Goggles have some issues processing PAL signals. If your toothpicks are outputting PAL and there is an option on their cameras to change the output format to NTSC then try doing that to see if it makes any difference.
