Update Frsky R9M TX and R9MM with PC?
#1
I have to update my Frsky devices but I do not own a Taranis radio.

Can I use a serial connection using Terminal on my PC to write the new firmware?

Update: Found it, FrSky STK tool.

You can flash the R9M receiver and module over S.PORT. As you don't have a Taranis you would probably do well to get yourself an FrSky STK tool which will then allow you to easily update the firmware on your FrSky receiver modules whenever you need to.

FrSky have produced a video tutorial on how to use the STK tool which is below...

You can also flash Frsky receivers via the flight controller using pass-through Smile No extra hardware needed, just your FC.
Here is the tutorial.
