Hugnosed- what?!? That is the most bizarre design I’ve ever seen. Could it make it past one landing without bending a shaft?
Dangerous operations.

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

That's like someone at the factory ordered the wrong motors (fixed wing firewall mount related ones) and they then said, heck, lets just use them....................

Cut a spring from a pen in half & glue it to the bottom of the motor over the shaft like a coil over & give it a little shock absorber . . . and that makes about as much sense as using the flippin motor shafts for landing on . . . real genius thinking of that one . . . wonder where they're working now . . . Burger Biggy??

but that wasnt the main issue xD
i know it as the first brushless whoop, i didnt saw any one befor backthan.

from frame focus, it seems nice. less material by straight and not round (dont kno how to call the ones which hold de ducts and attache to the motormount)
and from airflow it also seems to be benefical to have that bell in that place.

vtx and cam next to the throttle response wasmt enjoyable, but hey it was great to try a brushless whoop :-) it wasnt better than a good brushed one in that state than, it was a piece between the the generation of micro parts we gave today :-)

i need to try these 0703 15000kv motors again just for fun, they might show another side on a new software and decent esc - for that much exposed shafts, they seems still okish - they hadnt to much flytime.
the scale could also show ita age, maybe they are heavy but used more rigid materials? they wont keep up with modern motors, at least not with 0802...

there was another one, bigger and more heavy - i guess on 1103 what does make it even worse xD

Other than the bells popping off the motors when I'd land, the other thing I remember about the Boldclash 703/15s was the lame air time. I don't remember hitting 4 minutes on their Boldclash 450 batts, and the B06 was a 75. My B03 brushed with their 716 "Hot" motors and FPV'd would get better times on their 350 pillow batts and on those tiny 31 mm props. It did have some punch though, and did seem faster than my 85 brushed, and again, a 75.

I got a Gool G90 Pro for my first brushless, and that was about 2017, definitely quite a while before the Mobula came out, because I had/have a Mantis too. Pretty sure I had the Gool  & the Mantis before the B06, cause looking at the little stacks thought I'd be in over my head compared to the brushed Whoop boards. Then the Mobula came out with the 1-2S Crazybee AIO and was like Whoop crack . . . soooo easy to put together a brushless Whoop now, and a good thing nobody can possibly have too many Whoops!!

Before I messed up my back, I built custom furniture & cabinets and got into doing the interior remodelling. Not a problem adding a wall or two . . . or three to a room . . . 8^]
