Time online
#1
How do you hide your time spent online? I see some people are able to do this. It says “hidden” on profile.

It’s not for anyone else it’s me lol. I look and see I’ve spent days online. I don't want to know! I still see it. Why can’t I hide the time spent from myself?

You can't hide some of your own information from yourself. One saving grace is that the "time spent online" isn't necessary accurate . Say you visit the forum and look at a topic, then close the web page without explicitly logging off but come back again maybe 30 minutes later. Every time you do that you will clock up at least 20-30 minutes of extra "time spent online" against your account even if you only spent 30 seconds reading a single post, because the forum thinks you are still logged on. It is only after 20-30 minutes that the forum automatically times out your login session if there is no activity against it, but that 20-30 minutes has still been clocked up against your account. If you want to avoid that then explicitly log out of the forum as soon as you are done reading the forum. I personally never bother doing that.

Lol, I didn’t think of that. Thank you ,I was loosing my mind. I see I’ve been on for days and am questioning my addiction to the forum! I have often not logged off when I thought I did.

then I have proly all the time since I joined the forum logged lmao. ;O

Edit, I can't find where you find this information ;| the hell Dx

Edit: Edit: ok I found it, 1 week 2 days 16 hours..... so it's definitely not logging the full time I just keep the tab open, because I literally keep a tab open 24/7 since I joined this server only Xing the tab for short system reboots.

I can tell you right now I've had this forum open and available on a powered computer and an open browser with no interruptions for the last week straight.... My PC updated itself recently that's the onyl reason It's not longer than a week.

It might be like a 20 minute inactive time clock..... stops logging time after being inactive for like 20 minutes....... But even though... only 1 week? I mean, that's like what... 168 hours or something? Hmm... maybe that does add up about right. Damn I was expecting to se like "9 months 2 weeks" or some sh%t like that. ROFL

Clearly I have no problem then with 5 days 3hrs 30min! After the paranoia diminished, I notice when I use the iPad, the forum doesn’t log off after any amount of time. Whew! I was on this morning and just got home and I’m still logged in. Maybe the auto log off only works on PC?

I never get "logged off"

I've not had to sign into this site again. I think it just sees inactivity after a certain amount of time and stops counting.
