As much as some people are disappointed, I would actually like something X-lite sized with internal Crossfire - I only fly crossfire and quads - I have a Nirvana (which I love) and would love a smaller version.

Same. If they made that, I would be all over it. I wanted something smaller too and the x9 lite fit the bill but did not have a full module bay. I still use my mega sized x9d se. A smaller nirvana would be perfect. The gimbals feel really good on the nirvana. 27-Jan-2020, 06:46 PM Made for thumbers 27-Jan-2020, 07:08 PM I want a "Tarango" lol 27-Jan-2020, 08:12 PM 28-Jan-2020, 08:00 AM (27-Jan-2020, 05:49 PM)Petra Wrote: Same. I have the TX Lite on my Nirvana but usually 500mw is the sweet spot power wise where I fly. 29-Jan-2020, 02:11 AM (28-Jan-2020, 08:00 AM)zenm8 Wrote: So far from what has surfaced the only thing missing for me is 500mw+ since I often fly in pretty sketchy RF environments (in the city with a lot of noise). I'd probably be willing to put money on the fact that you could mod it to run 500mW just like Livyu did with the Micro TX. It's not a job for the faint-hearted, but with a hot air rework station and a steady hand it's perfectly do-able. 29-Jan-2020, 04:35 AM (29-Jan-2020, 02:11 AM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: I'd probably be willing to put money on the fact that you could mod it to run 500mW just like Livyu did with the Micro TX. I have neither of those things but maybe it’s time to upgrade my skills 29-Jan-2020, 04:41 AM who came up with the idea of trying to fly quads with a nintendo switch? lol 29-Jan-2020, 06:52 AM 29-Jan-2020, 01:49 PM (29-Jan-2020, 04:35 AM)zenm8 Wrote: I have neither of those things but maybe it’s time to upgrade my skills The only question is, would anyone be brave enough to start hacking their brand new $160 Tango 2 about as soon as they got it (and voiding the warranty in the process)? If you haven't already seen Livyu's 500mW mod for the Crossfire Micro TX, it's here... 30-Jan-2020, 02:06 AM (29-Jan-2020, 01:49 PM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: The only question is, would anyone be brave enough to start hacking their brand new $160 Tango 2 about as soon as they got it (and voiding the warranty in the process)? Assuming it's the same board/chip, I guess I will give it a crack. 31-Jan-2020, 01:31 PM The Tango 2 and Tango 2 Pro (yes, there are going to be two versions!) will be officially released for sale on Sunday 2nd February (in 2 days) at 10:22pm Hong Kong time via the TBS live stream, and both models they will be available for purchase immediately from that time, subject to available stock with either TBS or local dealer of course. So we will get to see it properly in the flesh in couple of days days which gives some time to prepare for either excitement...or disappointment The Tango 2 will be $160, and the Tango 2 Pro will be $200. I'm not sure what extra features are on the Pro version but I guess we'll find out on Sunday. 02-Feb-2020, 02:40 AM (02-Feb-2020, 02:23 AM)the.ronin Wrote: Exciting Or disappointing I guess we'll find out. Looks like Gal got given the poor man's "non Pro" version I think the announcement on Friday about the official release being on Sunday took a few people by surprise, including the people who got sent units for testing/review. But Trappy decided they wanted to release it on a memorable date/time -> 02-02-2020 22:22 (Hong Kong time). Livyu was complaining on Friday that he has 58GB of video to edit before tomorrow So I guess we'll be seeing reviews all dropping tomorrow by a number of the TBS sponsored pilots who got sent test/review units. |
