It does have a few other goodies in there as well that isn't published in the release notes. One of them is the new CRSF V3 protocol which reduces the end-to-end latency even more than CRSFshot does. Currently however, in the V6.06 firmware CRSF V3 is only implemented between the transmitter and the module, and between the receiver and the Flight Controller (requires Betaflight 4.3 or later, otherwise the communication will revert back to CRSF V2). The new V6.06 firmware doesn't yet implement CRSF V3 between the module and the receiver (over the air communication). That will be coming in a future firmware release.

I've been really pleased with the one I installed so far. Im particularly impressed with the nice clean video im getting (Currykittens youtube review demonstrates that well).

Does anyone know of a tidy way to whoop mount one of these? I've not seen any adapters (25.5X25.5 to 20X20). I've botched mine into place, and although it works, it's ugly.
I expect there are printable options, but I lack such tech, so an off the shelf solution would be preferred?

I had bought a Crossfire Sixty9 recently for the Five33 Switchback build direct from TBS and it does not come with a 25x25 adapter board.

I guess the only option is to fine an adapter on Thingiverse and print one such as this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4841090

The Sixty9 is 20x20 mounting and they offer a 3x30 to 20x20 adapter in the package.

It is not a 25.5X25.5 to 20x20 adapter.

All of these mounting options are confusing. Its not just you.

I even get confused with M3 or M4 mounting holes on 20x20 stacks that fit M2 ad M3 screws once we have the grommets in.  There is some non-standard stuff out there.

Yes, SmartAudio is now implemented via the Ch 4 pad at the base of the Sixty9 board labeled as Output 4 TX in the pinout diagram. This was not available on first release but was later implemented via firmware.

You will need to change the output map on Ch 4 to SmartAudio via the Agent Lite lua script on your radio or via the TBS Agent X/M app on your computer.

Ch 4 is not available via the jst connector.

But instead of using Betaflight to control the vtx, I have reverted back to using the Crossfire VTX control that does everything I need it to do: change channel/band/power/pitmode. You can even set pitmode via a switch.
