It's just that time of the year (post christmas), busiest time of the year for the forum, 50% more traffic that usual.
Give it 2-3 more weeks it's going to get better again Smile

The forum is just getting very busy this time of the year according to Oscar. A quick reload usually works for me.

I've been getting this quite frequently at around 9-11pm GMT/UTC most evenings so I don't know what is special about that particular time period. Maybe it's when a load of US based members (and guests) go on their lunch break or knock off work.

The number of concurrent connections to a MySQL database can be changed in the MySQL configuration settings, but doing that also increases the amount of RAM needed on the host, so maybe that's not an option if RAM is at a premium.

In the mean time, just try to remember to copy/paste any posts you write into your clipboard (or into notepad) before to press the post button because I've ended up losing a few posts I wrote due to the error. Sometimes a page refresh will do a resubmission and get the post through successfully, but that hasn't always worked for me. At least if you have a copy of the text from your post somewhere, you can just create a new new post and paste it back in.
