0 Throttle cut seems to be a little different to set up on a quad than on a fixed wing plane. On the drone sometimes I have to flick the throttle cut switch multiple times to turn off the throttle cut and sometimes I have to disconnect and reconnect the drone battery before it will arm. I know I have to wait for a GPS lock before it will arm but I don't know what else could be blocking the arm. Sometimes I get the four asterisk flick on the screen but no other info.
What needs to be set/fixed before this works every time?
Thanks.

790 In the Receiver tab in Betafight Configurator check to see what values are shown on the Throttle bar when your stick is in the fully down position and also the fully up position. It should be 1000 at min throttle and 2000 at max throttle.
There are some known stick endpoint issues with Spektrum receivers so you are seeing values that are quite a bit away from 1000 and 2000 then you will likely need to adjust the "rxrange" values in the Betaflight Configurator CLI tab to compensate for that in order to try and get the endpoints closer to the 1000 and 2000 values.
Also make sure that the active area that you've configured for the Arm switch in the Modes tab is such that the little blip icon isn't right on the edge of that active area when the quad is armed or disarme. If it is then any jitter in the sticks can cause the blip icon to end up outside that area.
