using a speedybee f405 v3 loaded with BF4.5 quad is fully functional however betaflight shows no dataflash chip found in blackbox logging.

There are known hardware design issues with the SpeedyBee F405 V3 FC which cause various DMA and other hardware conflicts, one of which is the inability to use both OSD and blackbox logging at the same time. In earlier versions of Betaflight the OSD and/or blackbox logging just wouldn't work if both were enabled. Maybe the Betaflight devs have now done something in Betaflight 4.5 to cause the SD Card to show as physically undetected if OSD is already enabled.

Can you please run the "dump", "diff all", and "status" commands in the Betaflight Configurator CLI tab and copy/paste the results back here.
