The problem was with the motor itself. I swapped it out and the quad flies great!
I think I have tracked down my problem, but I don't understand the cause.
Looking at Black box logs I noticed that my motor(2) was consistently running 15-20% faster than the other three. At times when the quad twitches, motor(2) is in phase with the gyro oscillations and the other three are 180 degrees out of phase. At the end of the run motor(2) is warm.
I have a spare motor that I can use to swap out motor(2) to see if it's a motor issue, but my gut tells me that the problem lies else where.
I am using a Holybro stack - Kakute F7 and a Tekko32 4in1.
