solid blue light, flashing red light
#1
hello, i would like to say im extremely new to the fpv world. ive only ever had rc card.
i just acquired what i believe is a eachine x220 from my older brother. he hasn't used it in years. the last thing he remembers is that he broke the arming toggle switch but must have replaced it.
my current issue is that i cant get the drone to arm or power the motors. I've rebound the rx and tx, verified battery is charged. when i plug the battery in it will twitch the motors and do the beeping sequence. ive downloaded betaflight and connected the drone. it will show everything the controller is doing except the throttle. the fc has a blue solid light and red blinking light. i really have no clue what else to look for or if there are any setting wrong in the remote two. I've verified the switches all work as well.

I took the remote apart to to see if the throttle stick was screwed up. i have to apply pressure to the part that the plug goes into for it register. still didnt help arming it.

Go into the Modes tab and check which switch the Arm function is mapped to. Activating the various switches on your transmitter/radio should should you which switch activates the arming command.

swa is throttle hold
swb fly mode
swcis to toggle training mode.
swd idle mode
does the solid blue light and blinking red light mean something

Show me a snapshot of your Betaflight Modes tab.

When you activate the switches on your radio do the modes get activated in Betaflight?

As soon as I get back home I’ll let you know.

so after looking in the modes tab i then realised i needed to go into the remote and mess with the aux channels. i got the drone to arm!!! so thats awsome. next issue is the remotes throttle does not work unless i hold a connect/circuit board attached to the throttle. after i touch the throttle it will go back down to idle speed and for some reason continue to climb in motor speed and the only way to stop it is to dissarm the drone. Any thoughts?

How does your throttle stick behave when moved up and down on the Betaflight Receiver tab?

Do you happen to have 3d mode turned on? Check this in the Betaflight Configuration tab.

there was an issue with a setting in the remote. i believe throttle hold was set to on. although it was wierd because when i had the remote taken apart there was a piece inside it that would cause the throttle to not function. so far i think I've fixed the known issues. i flew it for one minute early before the battery needed to be charged after all the troubleshooting i did. so thank you for you input. it got me to check settings and areas i had not previously.
