Dji is pretty damn good, did not totally blow my mind (I guess my current anolouge setup is better than I wanted to think), I've never flown anyone elses gear, but I'm sold forsure. Overall Im super happy, Had no idea what a cinematic 7in would fly like but turns out Its just a big version of what im using anyways. I have a few questions I'm hoping I can get help with, Batteries............. can acces here in N.Z either CHL ministar 1800mah 6s , or CHL 2200Mah 6s (the cheaper white ones with 70c rating) which one would you buy first if you have only those options? (KISS theroy), can I also use a larger 4s as well? and could I run the same tune? the anntenna only come out rear of frame about 5cm from the air unit, Is it worth buying 2x connectors with sma ends and using LHP aftermarket longer anntennas? or would this be "o.k" for med range stuff, and finally I have a Furious FPV 2x 18650 goggle pack, I take it this is fine to power the DJI goggles? not sure how DJi draw etc, all I want to know is would you use it? So you can get more range but you will loose the power of 6s in the trade off. How much difference you may see is either trial and error, or get a rough idea in https://ecalc.ch/index.htm A 7 inch won't be a dog on 4s, but 6s is much nicer to fly. I have a 7 inch (Super G +) that I run on 4s with a 4000mah battery. I get long flight times, depending on conditions and throttle discipline as much as 18-20 minutes. As always, antennas need to be up and away from CF, batteries, etc. Just curious, what is the pitch on your blades? Cool thanks, I watched your videos, (good to hear some music thats not a total rotor riot edgefest), I can see the difference for sure in your flights, as for pitch of props I think these are 7x4 gemfan? I have a bunch here and some comming in the mail, what prop do you prefer? Investment though? We want to believe that our toys are "investments" but the term implies that we will get more money back than we put in at some point in the future. Probably not gonna happen! I just be smart, work out, dress well, and talk to people like I'm selling them a exotic car. • Posts: 3,533 Threads: 265 Likes Received: 2,610 in 1,545 posts Likes Given: 3,893 Joined: Feb 2018 Reputation: 78 06-Jun-2021, 03:54 PM (This post was last modified: 06-Jun-2021, 05:36 PM by Krohsis.) Gemfans are a good blade, no need to change. I have them on my 6 inch and my 2 5ers. I have MAS 7x4 on my Super G+. I can't recommend them though. They are a good performing blade once you get them cleaned up, but they come from the factory with a lot of flashing that needs to be trimmed and are horribly out of balance. All 6+ inch blades should be balanced/checked for balance, but the MAS are way out. I got 3 complete sets when I built the Super G+ for a super low price. So I got them without knowing how sloppy the production process was. Now I have them, I will keep them, but I think you are better off with the Gemfans. A little off topic, but you asked which blade I prefer. Well I prefer 10 inch quads for LR, and I love my T-Motor CF 10x3.3 blades. Just an awesome blade for performance, and the attention to detail by T-Motor is like no other blade I have seen. If you ever go to 10 inch quads, I highly recommend them.
