Recently added Li-Ion batteries to my kit and I’m very happy that I did!

First Long Range test of a DIY 4200mAh on my 6” drone results:
- Total Distance: 13.3km (8.3 miles)
- Flight Time: About 14 mins
- Battery Remaining: 600mAh (14%) so could have squeeze out a longer trip if necessary.

I’m using the following Li-Ion Cells due to their relatively high amp output ratings.
- Sony VTC5a 2600mAh, size 18650
- Molicel P42a 4200mAh, size 21700

Thanks man, appreciate it! I’m in Norway and specialty items are often hard to find, so I’m actually getting them from online smoke shops because they are popular vape batteries. Lol

With that said, 18650batterystore.com seems to be popular in the states.

Adding a few of these to your kit is a great idea.
