0 Hi there,
It's winter here in Canada and i don't plan to fly my quad for the next 2-3 months. All my LiPo are at storage voltage right now. Should i cycle them (charge/discharge) every month or so to make sure they stay healthy during winter?
Thanks!

388 I have kept mine at storage voltage for more than a few months. The voltage holds pretty well.

796 Some of my 4S LiPos have been sitting at storage charge for more than 2 months already, and I have some 2S LiPos that have been at Storage charge of over 6 months. I haven't cycled any of them. Last year my 4S LiPos sat dormant at storage charge for around 4 months and they were fine when I came to use them again.
I wouldn't worry TBH. Just leave them at storage charge.

78 16-Dec-2019, 06:10 PM (This post was last modified: 16-Dec-2019, 06:11 PM by Krohsis.) I have some lipos that haven't been used for a couple years and when they were brought back into service they were fine.
All I do is about every 2-3 months I put them on the charger and bring them to storage charge. Some take a little charge and some don't need any charge.
