RM TX12 aetr map problem
#1
First problem was that radio wouldn't turn on all of a sudden. Had been working fine for almost a year. Tried flashing firmware in every way it can be flashed but that didn't help. Opened radio and took out the small battery and put it back in. Now radio turned on.

But then in betaflight joysticks did wrong things even though I handn't touched any settings. I can get them to work almost correctly if I move the aetr letters around in betaflight but something is still wrong with throttle as it only moves from 988 to 1500. In radio mixes the order is aetr as well.

All AUX switches that I had set up seem to be working correctly.

Any ideas how to get this thing back to how it was?

This is how they are set now and everything else seems to work except throttle only moves to 1500.

Even if I manage to fix the throttle I still don't trust this set up because it's weird to have to mix the letters in betaflight like that.

I suggest you try (re)flashing the multiprotocol module with the latest firmware (currently 1.3.3.7) in case the firmware in it has somehow become corrupt.

https://downloads.multi-module.org

Download and flash the bin file that has "aetr" in the name.

Thanks!
Downloaded and flashed but no help. Still have to have ATER1234 in betaflight when in radio mixes it is:
Ch1 ail
Ch2 ele
Ch3 thr
Ch4 rud

And throttle end point is 1500.

Edit: I have a crossfire module on the radio, does that come into play in this case?

Sigh, I really thought that I didn't need to do this anymore. Everything was great but then something breaks when I'm not even flying.

Try deleting and then re-adding the model again from scratch.

Fixed it. Stick calibration fixed the throttle problem and happened to see a vid about mode 1 and mode 2 radios, so checked that and somehow it had changed itself into a mode 1 radio...
