Interested to note if you see a trend with rcinpower motors being more current hungry than other same sized motor counterparts. I've found my HM 1202.5 motors to be more efficient than the rcinpower 1202.5 for same (labeled) kV value.

Happymodel motors have always been at the top in efficiency across many motor shootouts. HM1203 was a "unicorn" motor when Quad66 was still doing motor analysis, and recently the HM1404 also topped efficiency in Rosser's 1404 shootout. They are often the lightest and maybe slightly under kv'd, adding to its efficiency. They are usually the cheapest and come plugged, so are great for micro building, of course durability and bearing quality is another matter. Rcinpower often is beefier and over kv'd probably adding to its power draw.
