I just watched AndyRC's review of the RadioMaster Zorro and that is also a no BS review and one that I think is worth a watch (see below). He also goes over a few things that some of the other reviews haven't.

The fitment of the battery covers and then coming off while using the Zorro do seem to be a bit troublesome so maybe RadioMaster will tweak the design slightly and resolve that issue in a future batch. This is why it is sometimes better to wait for for the second or third batch before jumping in with a purchase, if you can afford to wait that is because manufacurers are known to tweak and improve things, and we've already seen that happen with the TX16S.

There are also going to be some CNC machined all metal AG01 gimbals for the Zorro at some point in the near future and I'm sure RadioMaster will probably offer a version of the Zorro with those already installed from the factory.

yes looks difficult close the battery door each time  ROFL

or close perfectly the rubber pads that are behind to cover the antenna, usb and micro usb port ...or in front where there is the 2s connector.

so in the past is really happened that they have fixed it ? but they would do better to test before release a product, are not issue hard to find if you keep on hands that product  Dodgy

these gimbals looks very expensive, are they really much better then stock ?

It's not just getting the battery covers back onto the Zorro that seems a bit of a hassle, it's the fact that they can seemingly come off when gripping the controller while actually flying.

There have been a number of improvements to the TX16S since the first few batches were originally released including some improvements to the internals. It's common with a lot of hardware in this hobby that revisions and improvements get made over time following community usage and feedback.

The AG01 gimbals are supposed to much nicer to use than the stock gimbals based on feedback from people who have them, but as you've observed they are almost the same cost as the whole transmitter which is a lot of money, so you would have to decide whether they are worth that extra money.

If you need a transmitter right now and can't afford to wait around then you should probably just buy what is in stock now and available to buy.

Here are the new AG01 gimbals for the RadioMaster Zorro (and the TX12), a custom fit carry case for the Zorro, and some "Sticky360" stick ends for the Zorro, TX12 and TX16S...

Give me a feel on your button pressing sequence.

So you hold the button down till you see 4 square dots and release? or do you continuously hold the button?

Try pressing/holding the left/right trim switches towards the center and try to power on the radio. Does it enter bootloader mode?

Hi there,

Does anyone know if its possible to have the buttons (S-A/D/G/H) function as a press release ( ie press and release to activate, press and release again to deactivate) ?

Those are momentary buttons and you can program them as a 2 position switch using the “sticky” logical function.

Here is a video showing an example:

Sure

the function you need for that in the logic functions menu is called Sticky or SRFF
You just set V1 and V2 to the same button and done

Thx @jsac!!

After watching the video and double checking on some others I figured it out and managed to do what I wanted, which was to assign an on off switch to my throttle cut slider. This method adds more toggle option which is great.
