11 In this day and age I’m real surprised the radio is not protected for backwards batteries! Does anyone know if the Frsky Horus series have protection. It’s odd to me that manufactures went back to battery trays as before they didn’t like them cause they could loose contact. Flat top batteries are notoriously easy to put in backwards!

0 After waiting for the IC to be delivered, i have replaced it and now it works like new! So if anyone has the same problem, try to replace the IC first before buying a new board. Hope this helps.

0 If you want to get back to flying and have some loose change in your pocket, get a new mother board for $75. It could be a time saver.

2 There’s a repair shop on YouTube called “north ridge fix” and he shows time and time again how to identify a short on SMD components. He does everything without looking at any schematic diagrams. Good stuff to watch and learn from. Good luck!
