preflight checklist

longrange checklist? anyone know a good preflight checklist? 

on my checklist is:
-goggle battery check
-tx battery check
-vtx and tx power setting check
-wind and weather informations
-flight path and antenna direction focus

so far what come to my mind, if there would be still a nice complete list, i would like to get it :-) thanks for any links or list in advance :-)

Yes, definitely make sure your radio batteries are fully charged before any long range flight which is something we people don't always do when flying close proximity freestyle or racing. Wezley Varty forgot to do that and ended up losing an expensive wing because of it (HERE). Oops Confused

Everyone has provided the info required to keep the quad in the air and in control but what about yourself?

- A chair (you could get tired standing up for long flights)
- Insect repellent (ants and bugs can be a pita)
- Water
- Toilet break before you take off. Never underestimate the power of nature Smile
- A buddy or friend to keep an eye on things surrounding you and keep strangers away from distracting you.
