Am I overlooking anything by powering my Crossfire Lite off the same lipo powering my X9D?  Specifically, the balance lead is powering the X9D and a separate JST connector (or XT30) will power the the Crossfire Lite via harness going through a drilled hole on the cover.  The lipo is a 2S 2400mAh.

I get that I'd be draining that lipo faster but I'd prefer having to switch out lipos over having to have an extra lipo attached to the back.  The voltage reading on the X9D would also address both the radio and the Crossfire.

It used to be that in order to run 1W, you need the extra lipo, or do want you did. Now that is not the case anymore. Anyway, what you did is fine.
