Please check my wiring
#1
Hi all

Can you please check my wiring in the diagram. I'm unsure on the buzzer as the FC manual refers to "Buz-" but there is no such pin. There is a "z-" so I don't know if the first letters have just been missed off.

FC/ESC: Holybro Kakute F7 HDV Stack
RX: Crossfire nano
Camera/VTX: DJI Air Unit
Buzzer: Vifly Finder 2

Thanks
Alan

That wiring is all correct. The Z- pad on the Holybro Kakute F7 HDV is for the buzzer- wire.

Once you get it up and running I'll be interested to see if you have any issues with the OSD in the DJI FPV Goggles because another member on here is having an issue with that when using that same Holybro FC...

Thanks Snow. Parts arriving this weekend so can enjoy building it next week.

I know I'm not the only one but I really enjoy building things like this more than the actual flying. My old RC Heli spent more time on the bench with me tinkering away than in the air. That had of course nothing to do with all the crashes Tongue

I have two nearly identical setups both using the same flight controller and air units. I have no issues with the OSD other then it being very limited with DJI. I also over do it with the caps. I usually place two across the battery and esc pads. Have had very little issues with freeze or osd.

Its looking good but a word of warning for future builds since you never mentioned if your using the same esc on the next.

The esc / flight controller connector cable is not always the same pinout between components. Full stacks of same manufacturer are designed for ease of use and generally work but if you swap any one component out such as the esc for a spedix or FC for a matek the wiring might need to be re-pinned.

Thanks for the advise.
I did double check just to be sure.
