Dear, i am trying to connect my Omnibus F4 flightcontrol board and FS-A8S mini receiver. I am using RC radio flysky Turnigy TGY-i6. I binded the receiver and the radio, when I turn it on, i have the red solid light (so i think it is ok...). In betaflight I switch on UART6(then others too) receiver and IBUS, but I cannot get any movements from sticks. I did it like on this video, but nothing, help?
I've already asked the same question here. I've resoldered the FS-A8S signal wire to the RX1 pin on Omnibus board about a week ago but haven't had a while to test. Today I have the drone at work with me so I'm going to test if it worked or not, I'll leave a message.
So if it's Omnibus F4 V3 (please note there are more Omnibus F4 versions) you should have the wire from RX soldered to RX1 input and set it as UART1 in Betaflight.
This is my flight control board OMNIBUS F4. I do not know the version?Where Can I find it? So I try like on picture. In betaflight configurator ports I put the UART6(I try all...) on, and IBUS (I try all...). In my radio I just turn off the PPM and the only thing in IBUS menu is which channel do you want (so I leave the channel 1). Thank you for any help. .

Something isn't right with the port on the bottom-right corner. According to the manual from top to bottom would be UART 6 rx and tx, ground, 5v and UART 3 tx and rx. The color code of your wires indicate something totally different. For instance the first 2 wires are red and black which tells me that you have power connected to UART 6? Somethin' don't seem right. Post a pic of your receiver please.
I think, this is the right pin out picture. The colors of the jst connector are different like should be( I connect red wire-signal, yellow wire-gnd and white wire-5v....I watched the picture). The receiver is FLYSKY FS-A8S.
Your receiver has IBUS and Sbus. Are you in the correct mode?
Change i-BUS/S.BUS mode When turned on and bound, the transmitter and receiver can change output mode to i-BUS and S.BUS modes by pressing and holding the bind button for 2 seconds .LED turns off for 1 second when flashed twice:i-bus OURPUT MODE led flashes twice then turns off for 1 second: S.BUS output mode active

That's what I'm trying to explain. red wire-5v, black wire-ground, white wire-signal
Finally I get some sticks movements. I put the signal wires in the same connector in TX3(channel 3 in betaflight) and it works. Thanks to all. Another question. Now I try to test the motors, all 4 works just fine(in betaflight configurator). But I cannot run them with RC radio?

Connecting to TX3 should have not even worked. I wonder if the manufacturer incorrectly ran the trace when they clone the FC.
