No sound when plugging in battery
#1
Hi guys, need help.
I crashed the drone in a puddle, after drying and cleaning it(waited 2 days)started it up today just to see.

When plugging in battery, no 5 beeps, just a 'tsk' sound. Vtx and fc and receiver lights up, taranis able to get telemetry, goggles able to view. Engine wont arm.

Solders look good, nothing lose. Antenna case did open and water went in..

Using holybro kakute f7 stack with atlat vtx.
Able to access betaflight

Thanks for your advise.

Are you getting stick movements in BFC?

No beeps could just means that your ESC or/and motors are bad. Can you spin your motors in BF?

You have to rule out what components still works and which one doesn't.

In betaflight the quad moves when I move the quad, this means the fc is working right?

No all 4motors don't move in betaflight. Battery plugged in.

Does not rule out FC yet. Just means one part of the FC is working. I meant stick movements from the the receiver. Do you see movem2in receiver tab.

You will not get the beeps unless you have a lipo plugged in. Have you tried it with the lipo ?

Yes lipo plugged.
Receiver, vtx, taranis all receiving signals.

See if you can connect to the ESC with BLHeli

So it can be three things remaining, bad ESC, no signal to the ESC or bad motor. My bet is on bad ESC.

Just to double check, when you connected to BLHeli you did have a battery plugged in right ?
And you did click "read setup" in the lower corner right ?
