This isn't your traditional FPV simulator but is something quite different with literally thousands of maps which are all community created. Watch the video below by Sync FPV to find out what it is, how it came about, and how it works. What Sync FPV has done is to effectively add FPV quad capabilities to an existing game that was developed by the company he works for as a games developer. It runs on the Steam platform and is completely FREE. It only works on Windows computers though so Mac users are out of luck.
I guess this should probably be treated more as a game than a simulator but it looks a whole load of fun. You can use your transmitter as a joystick, and you can change the rates and physics, but how good these are compared to real life is yet to be seen. I probably wouldn't have too many expectations of them to be anything as good as the dedicated FPV sims such as VelociDrone, Liftoff, DRL and DCL, but this sim/game isn't really trying to compete with those anyway.
I tried it on my computer but sadly after a very short time on the sticks the game just freezes, so I think my old workhorse of a PC might just not be up to it. Even if I switch off all the highly intensive graphics options in the game it unfortunately still does the same so it might need quite a beefy machine to run it. Either that or there may be some kind of a bug in the current version of the game. So I can't give you any feedback on how it actually plays at the moment. Maybe someone else can try it out and see if it works for them or if they get the same issue.
