New DJI O3 air unit OSD ALT Flashing
#1
Just picked up a new iFlight quad with the new DJI Air unit. Updated my V2 goggles and the air unit and bound it up to my radio. Took it out for a spin and noticed that above 100 feet agl my ALT number starts to flash continuously. This does not happen with the same exact setup from a year ago built with the old DJI air unit in my V2 goggles in OSD mode.

Does this sound like an air unit related issue ot setting of some kind, or a Betaflight setting that is effecting my O3 OSD differently from the old DJI air unit OSD.

It's really annoying to fly with the ALT number flashing the whole time I'm above 100 feet.

Thanks.

Mike.

Noticed that too, I've got barometers on half my quads so it's something I rarely look at and tend not to go much over 100 feet as much anyway. I was purposely going for a high horizon look the other day and that was the first time I had seen it on an o3 build. I figured it was a BF4.3 thing, I don't have any HD font stuff going on with mine.

I'm a very novice to BF. Know just enough to get in the air safely, make my OSD and power settings , rates and GPS rescue. Does anyone know if there is some kind of altitude warning selection somewhere that works on the O3 and not the older DJI air unit?

All of my flight is over 100 feet as it is a LR camera drone and the flashing is going to drive me nuts.

In BF go to the OSD tab and scroll down the right hand panel to the Alarms section. Should be an Altitude alarm, default is 100, but you can set it how you need to.
