New Bee Drone needs fixing
#1
I have just broken one of the motor connectors on the FC and am wondering if anyone knows of any replacement parts or a way to repair the connector. I’m not entirely sure what the connector is called.
Thanks in advance

I am assuming the motor connector on your brush drone broke. If so, then it is a JST-SH connector. You can buy the female connector. I am not sure if it is through hole or surface pads. The alternative is two just solder the motor wire directly to the pads. Post a good photo.

It won’t let me add a photo using the attachment bit on the reply but the connector you have linked to is the one. It’s the connector on the board itself.
Thanks.

Assuming your board is the BeeBrain v1.2 or newer then it's a Micro JST 1.25mm connector socket (a vertical SMD version). The particular socket type that NewBeeDrone use on their boards doesn't seem to be very common but you can get them from the following link...

Thanks.
They are the ones. I found a set of 4 from dronejunkie.co.uk in their brushed electrical supplies so hopefully they are right.

Those ones from dronejunkie are through-hole mounted connectors. The ones used on the BeeBrain board are SMD connectors which also have extended side pieces to add mechanical strength (needed due to them being SMD mounted).

The ones I linked to on AliExpress are the SMD mount ones.

Thanks. I think my problem was the photo size I was trying to upload.
