121 22-Feb-2023, 08:46 PM (This post was last modified: 22-Feb-2023, 08:51 PM by Lemonyleprosy.) It is not ideal to have the active element (end) of your vtx antenna right next to your positive cable.
Power wires emit a magnetic field, and this can result in interference.
I’d suggest using a longer antenna, or routing the antenna vertically and zip tying it to a standoff.
Dangerous operations.
Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

103 23-Feb-2023, 12:09 PM (This post was last modified: 23-Feb-2023, 12:10 PM by hugnosed_bat.) the carbon next to the active antenna element will cause even more interferneces than powerlead. for good sinal you like to get the active element as faraway from everything as possible.
i wiuld either suggest to mount it differently, a longer antenna as lemonly told
if the ufl plug of the antenna would be on the end of the frame, it would work better

19 If you look at a range of highly reviewed and commented on commercial PNP/BNF quads like the iFlight Nazgul Evoque as just one example, you'll see power wiring slammed right against VTX and antenna wiring, camera wiring slammed right up against ESC to motor wiring, and more.
Not saying that's good, just saying.................
