Nebula Pro just as good as the DJI cam
#1
Briefly tested the new Nebula Pro, can confirm it's great! Image quality is almost the same as the original DJI camera, but it's lighter, has the more common 19x19mm size, and a few USD cheaper.

Hi its has good quality but wish I could stop it changing the exposure when I head toward the ground the exposure and saturation in the video is fine but when I pull up the exposure changes and the colours wash out. would be good to be able to fix the exposure underexpose slightly and correct in post would be OK

I can second the notion that the camera quality is really, really good. The only way I could tell any real difference was turning directly into the sun. It isn't bad by any means, just different in terms of what I would call color saturation. That might not be the right word but the colors seem to change/have more "flare" than my quads with the original air unit or vista camera.

The Caddx Nebula cameras including the Pro only output 720P so if you hook them up to a DJI Air Unit you will never get a true 1080P recording. I'm not sure if it will just record in 720P or if it will try to upscale the image to 1080P, but either way you won't get the same quality 1080P image recording on the Air Unit from the Nebula Pro that you get from the DJI camera.

DJI have now discontinued the DJI camera and it's not yet clear if Caddx will continue to manufacture the original 1080P DJI camera under license, or if it will just be dropped completely in favour of the Nebula Pro camera. All we can do is wait to see what happens now that DJI have handed over production of the all the standalone FPV system hardware to Caddx.
